Information we collect

When you request private access, we may collect:

• Your name and email address
• Your business or area of practice
• Information about your work and who you help
• Information about how customers reach you
• Information about what usually happens before customers book, buy, or decide to work with you
• Whether you choose to receive optional Lockd updates, beta news, or invitations

If you are invited to use Lockd, we may also collect account, authentication, profile, workspace, and service information needed to provide the platform.

We may automatically collect limited technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, timestamps, referral source, error logs, and security logs.

Please do not submit passwords, financial information, government identification numbers, health information, or other sensitive information through the private-access form unless Lockd specifically requests it through an appropriate feature.

How we use information

We may use information to:

• Review private-access requests
• Manage invitations and waitlists
• Create and maintain accounts
• Contact you about your request or invitation
• Provide, secure, and improve Lockd
• Understand how people use our services
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Maintain business, security, and operational records
• Comply with legal obligations

Requesting private access does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications.

Operational and marketing communications

We may send operational communications related to your request or account, including acknowledgment of a request, follow-up questions, invitation instructions, account or security notices, and important service updates.

These messages are separate from promotional communications. If you separately opt in to receive Lockd updates, beta news, or invitations, we may send those promotional messages. You can withdraw marketing permission at any time by using the unsubscribe option in the message or contacting us.

Automated systems and AI

Some Lockd features may use automated systems or artificial intelligence to organize information, understand requests, route conversations, generate summaries, or support product functionality.

Automated systems may assist with reviewing or classifying information, but a private-access request does not automatically grant access. Access decisions remain subject to Lockd's review process.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product usage, improve reliability, and evaluate the Lockd experience.

Service providers

We may use trusted third-party service providers for purposes such as:

• Website and application hosting
• Data storage and backups
• Email delivery
• Authentication and account security
• Monitoring and error reporting
• Analytics and product measurement
• Artificial-intelligence processing
• Audio transcription
• Video and meeting infrastructure
• Payment processing
• Customer support and communications

These providers may process information only as necessary to provide services to Lockd and under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

We do not need to disclose every internal model, prompt, infrastructure component, or implementation detail in this policy. If we introduce material new processing or advertising technologies, we will update this policy where appropriate.

Cookies and analytics

Lockd may use necessary cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, maintain security, remember preferences, and understand technical performance.

The private-access page does not currently use advertising retargeting pixels. If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising, or retargeting technologies, we will provide appropriate notice and choices where required.

How we share information

We may disclose information:

• To service providers working on our behalf
• When you direct us to do so
• To protect Lockd, our users, or the public
• To investigate fraud, abuse, or security issues
• When required by law, regulation, subpoena, or court order
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets

We do not sell personal information.

Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to review access requests, manage invitations and accounts, provide requested communications, maintain security and operational records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

When information is no longer needed, we may delete it, anonymize it, or securely retain it where required or reasonably necessary.

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion, withdraw marketing consent, ask how your information is used or disclosed, and object to or limit certain types of processing.

To make a privacy request, contact privacy@lockd.you. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

You can unsubscribe from promotional email at any time. Unsubscribing from marketing communications does not prevent us from sending necessary operational or security messages.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Lockd is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Lockd, our services, or applicable requirements change.

We will update the “Last updated” date when changes are made. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice through the website or by email where appropriate.
